Dashboard indicators for scholarly activity at a small university: Prototype with embedded content

Consider the purpose or audience for your dashboard. This will help to determine the sorts of resources and the level of details that you include.

Are you gathering resources for your own easy reference and retrieval? You might use a private or closed tool, and include data that is useful to you but that you might not present to a broader audience (e.g. author unique identifiers, ISBNs and DOIs).

Are you using the dashboard or elements of it to profile your scholarly work? You might consider including elements that present data immediately and visually, and that offer a good representation of the nature and scope of your work for a general or particular audience.
