Our mission is to support people, with all disabilities, to live with dignity, independence and as equal and full participants in society. We champion issues impacting the lives of people with disabilities through our direct services, community partnerships, advocacy, research and publications.
Community Living BC (CLBC), a provincial crown agency mandated under the Community Living Authority Act, delivers supports and services to adults with developmental disabilities and their families in British Columbia. CLBC is working to create communities where people with developmental disabilities have more choices about how they live, work and contribute.
LDABC’s mandate is to be the Provincial network and voice for persons with Learning Disabilities (LD) and those who support them. Founded in 1973, the association provides information and resources to ensure the full participation of children, youth and adults with LD in today’s society.
Our mission is to advance the education, employment, social development, legal rights and general well being of people with learning disabilties in the province of British Columbia.
